The University of South Florida’s Graduate and
Professional Student Council (GPSC) is proud to offer, through the
generous support of Student Government, the Conference Presentation Grant
Program (CPGP).
The conference presentation grant program offers money to USF graduate
students presenting or otherwise actively participating at a conference.
|
We at the GPSC hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.
Assisting graduate students make such presentations benefits us all by
promoting USF to the academic community at large.
The Conference Presentation Grant Program (CPGP) is administered in the
following manner.
The GPSC facilitates the program by ensuring the ease of the application
process, answering student inquiries, approving any exceptions (due to late
notification or extenuating circumstances), and by resolving any conflicts
that arise.
The Student Government Administrative Services processes all
applications, confirms receipt of applications, notifies students of any
application errors, and notifies students when their CPGP check is
available for pickup.
Therefore, if you have questions about the CPGP, contact the GPSC.
Submit your application to the Student Government Administrative Service
(CTR 203). DO NOT submit your
materials to the GPSC, as this will delay the processing of your
application. Once your application is submitted, if you
have questions about its status, contact the Student Government
Administrative Services (974-2402 or
974-3357).
The following are all necessary materials for the Conference
Presentation Grant Program:
Travel Instructions
Please note:
When retrieving the MS Excel files, you may receive a "disabled
macros" alert. If this occurs, simply click "OK" and
complete the form. ALSO:
If you receive a request for a password when downloading the template,
simply click "cancel" and proceed.
As you can see, the application process involves two phases: before
travel and after travel. Due to State of Florida requirements, it is essential to
familiarize yourself with ALL policies, instructions, and forms before
beginning the application process. For this reason, do not wait until after
your return from the conference to read the “after travel”
instructions.
To ensure you follow all instructions carefully, you may wish to print
out all instructions (including this page) prior to completing the
application.
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about the CPGP, please
contact a GPSC officer, at gpsc@grad.usf.edu
or 813-974-6939.
